Program Structure

The BS Nursing program is structured into eight semesters over four years, with a balanced focus on theoretical coursework, clinical practice, and professional development.

  • Year 1:
    Foundations of Nursing, Basic Medical Sciences, Communication Skills, and Introduction to Public Health.

  • Year 2:
    Medical-Surgical Nursing, Pharmacology, Pathophysiology, and Introduction to Nursing Research.

  • Year 3:
    Maternal and Child Health Nursing, Psychiatric Nursing, Community Health Nursing, and Evidence-Based Practice.

  • Year 4:
    Advanced Medical-Surgical Nursing, Leadership and Management in Nursing, Clinical Practicum, and Research Project.

Each semester includes a combination of classroom instruction, laboratory work, and clinical placements, ensuring a well-rounded education.

Admission Requirements

To be eligible for the BS Nursing program at HICON, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Completion of high school education with a focus on science subjects (Biology, Chemistry, Physics).

  • Passing the entrance examination and interview conducted by HICON.
